Who We Are
The Amateur Football League in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia oversees neighbourhood football teams and centres, organises their operations and manages their relationships with relevant entities. It operates under the supervision of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, the League’s principal governing umbrella, which regulates its relationships with government, sports and other relevant bodies in accordance with the League’s Statute.
Establishment of the League
The League was established pursuant to Saudi Arabian Football Federation Resolution No. 6951/Q/1, dated 21/8/1436 AH, corresponding to 19/6/2014.

Bringing neighbourhood players together and organising them under one umbrella to help achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Our Goals

Support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by increasing the proportion of people participating in sport from 13% to 40%.

Deepen national belonging and strengthen national identity among the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Prepare, improve and develop the game of football and all its elements.

Promote participation in football in accordance with human, cultural and educational values.

Develop and prepare people across the amateur football ecosystem in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Organise competitions including the Neighbourhood Teams League, youth-category tournaments and amateur football competitions organised by the Main Association at national and governorate levels.

Uphold Islamic values and comply with the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
