Players’ Affairs Committee

The Players’ Affairs Committee manages and regulates player matters and their relationships with clubs.

Duties and Responsibilities

1- Review applications to register new players and renew player contracts
2- Oversee amendments to player records and documentation
3- Review and approve contracts between players and clubs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
4- Oversee player transfers within the League and between regional leagues
5- Oversee player loan requests within the League and between regional leagues
6- Propose and implement regulations governing player affairs
7- Investigate and adjudicate player complaints
8- Follow up on complaints submitted by players and teams

Disciplinary and Dispute Resolution Committee

A principal judicial committee that serves as the third level of adjudication within the Amateur Football League.

Duties and Responsibilities

1- Adjudicate protests between teams as a third-level judicial body
2- Resolve sporting disputes that fall under the League’s jurisdiction
3- Supervise the work of disciplinary and appeals committees
4- Issue sanctions in relation to complaints and grievances

Duties and Responsibilities

1- Supervise referee committees in the regional leagues
2- Organise referee training camps
3- Directly oversee and appoint referees for Champions Championship matches
4- Identify and develop refereeing talent
5- Increase the number of referees across all regional leagues

Competitions Committee

The committee is responsible for organising all Amateur Football League competitions, preparing match schedules and venues, setting fixture dates, and determining tournament prize values.

Duties and Responsibilities

1- Propose and review the competitions regulations
2- Prepare the annual competition calendar for the regional leagues
3- Directly supervise all sporting competitions across the leagues
4- Propose the formation of regional subcommittees represented by competition coordinators

Media Committee

The committee publishes the League’s activities and programmes across broadcast, print, audio, digital and social media, and coordinates with media committees in the regional leagues.

Duties and Responsibilities

1- Develop a comprehensive media communications plan, define key messages and select the most appropriate media channels
2- Produce varied, specialist content suited to different media, including press articles, reports, newsletters, photography and video
3- Build strong relationships with media organisations, arrange press conferences and conduct interviews
4- Manage social-media accounts, launch digital campaigns and analyse performance data
5- Organise events and occasions that support the League’s objectives
6- Respond to media crises promptly and effectively while protecting the League’s reputation
7- Measure the contribution of media activities to the League’s objectives and provide regular performance reports
8- Develop the capabilities of regional media coordinators and highlight the League and its competitions throughout the Kingdom
9- Maintain daily contact with regional media committees across the Kingdom and ensure their work meets the required standards
10- Review daily requests from regional media committees, including match cards, results and photographs

General Secretariat

The General Secretariat is the League’s executive and administrative body, responsible for implementing its decisions and managing its day-to-day activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

1- Implement decisions issued by the Board of Directors and the League’s committees
2- Monitor implementation of the strategic plan
3- Contribute to the commercial marketing of the League’s rights
4- Organise general meetings and Board meetings, prepare agendas and document minutes
5- Liaise with clubs, sports federations and government bodies to ensure cooperation and integration
6- Exercise general oversight of the website
7- Submit a semi-annual report to the Board Chair covering the League’s work, achievements, activities and operational progress
8- Submit reports on the work of the League’s committees
9- Organise and oversee the League’s executive operations
10- Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure work proceeds smoothly and efficiently
11- Coordinate with the League’s committees, including Players’ Affairs, Referees and Disciplinary committees
12- Oversee the organisation of League competitions and cup tournaments
13- Monitor financial affairs and prepare the annual budget in cooperation with the Finance Department
14- Manage recruitment and human resources within the Secretariat
15- Propose updates to regulations and rules in line with developments in amateur football
16- Cooperate with strategic partners to provide sporting facilities
17- Represent the League in meetings with external stakeholders
